    Wonderfully fresh, delicious, great service. I had the deliciously delicate water pancakes. These are amazing and unique for the American diner. If you haven't had them, I highly recommend being adventurous. You spoon the tiny morsels from their bowels, each one flavored with a delicate fried crisp onion, and shrimp in the tender steamed pancake. Ten of these are less than $3.00! Super bargain! The Bun is one of the best I have had in the area. The bowl of noodles with refreshing vegetables and tender flavorful barbecued pork is delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was delightful. Our server went above and beyond to help my husband find the perfect blend of jellies for his dessert. She made him a combination of a few to sample and brought them to the table for him to try. She was patient and very sweet. This is a gem in Pinellas Park. Glad to find it!

    The fun and color atmosphere brings you in and the large menu keeps you intrigued. They have many authentic dishes you may not be able to get elsewhere which is a big plus! I tried the Vietnamese hot pot (Thai flavor) and their Vermicelli pork, shrimp and egg roll dish. Overall, the hot pot is an very fun and excellent family meal time. The portions are actually very large, we shared a small one between 3 people and still had tons left over. They give you an assortment of vegetables, meats and seafood. The thai flavor reminds me of the MaMa noodles, it's sour and spicy. The Vermicelli dish was okay, the portion isn't really that big for something that's over $10. I still enjoyed it anyways because I was hungry. I did notice that the egg roll provided was different from other places (this one didn't have meat). The service is extremely slow and annoying. I've had to get up to ask for water after waiting 20-30 minutes. We had to ask for your bills both times as we sit there staring at each other in silence. So let's just say service isn't their thing. It's still a place to check out if you've already visited all the Vietnamese restaurant in the area.

    Definitely one of the slowest services for an Asian restaurant. Lots of servers running around but the kitchen cannot keep up. Not really sure about the food since I am still waiting. Does not matter if food is good, if I can't eat when I am hungry.... It's not really worth it. Their crawfish and garlic shrimp in butter was good (ordered to go via phone). Sorry maybe next time.

    OMG....my daughter and i went there for brunch today...OFF THE HOOK !!!!! I had the spicy beef vermicelli...best thing i have ever eaten. I also had the pork belly bun mi....FABULOUS ... my daughter had watermelon boba tea and she wnded up getting a second one to take home. She had this crepe type thing with shrimp in it that she loved. The service was great and very friendly..not too long of a wait fir the food at all. Very reasonably priced and you get a TON of food...i could have swam in my soup bowl it was that huge. We cant wait to go back. I would recommend this to EVERYONE i f you like veitnamese food.

    The band beo is one of best I have ever had (I'm Vietnamese and grew up in California). I highly recommend it. Their crawfish is also very tasty. We eat here nearly every week.

    Conveniently located, Long Phung met my dining needs. Friendly service, clean atmosphere and the food was fresh. My friend, who goes to Louisiana specifically for fresh crawl fish twice annually, had their crawl fish and it came out piping hot. Chose medium spice and he said it was the best he has had locally. The other appetizer was a spring roll with peanut sauce and it was very fresh as was the Pho soup we had as the entree. The owner stopped our table to verify we were satisfied. This is now my go to Vietnamese restaurant!

    3 1/2 stars because no outstanding dishes, not to me. Pho is okay. I go for there banh beo (steamed flour in teeny dishes), and the banh bot loc (steam tapioca pouch stuffed with seasoned shrimp).

    Long Phung is one of the newer additions to Pinellas Park's Park Boulevard Vietnamese food scene. If you have not tried it yet, then I definitely recommend trying for the experience. Look around at what other customers are ordering and try many different dishes. Even though my review might not be glowing and raving, everyone's opinion is different and just the experience of coming to Long Phung is important to the total Tampa Bay food scene. This place is Vietcool, from the hand painted mural arching the front door to the music and décor. Like a bustling cafeteria style Vietnamese restaurant you would find in California, where very few tables have parties of eight or less. Parties of two are rare, and that was us--- ordering as much food as a party of five, of course! The tables are small, and the entrée plates (ceramic plate, not portion) are massive, so there is definitely not enough room on the tabletop for the array of tasty dishes. The hours on the door have been taped over that they are open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm. No more 7:00am anymore, guise! The staff is aloof and barely responds when you order. So you don't really know if they heard your order or even wrote down the correct thing. The staff is young and speaks both Vietnamese and English perfectly. Food comes out fast, and as soon as it hits the table the staff disappears and will not even return to bring you a check. This is where staggering food delivery comes in handy. We were lucky that all of our dishes did not come out at once, so we were able to ask for various things from the staff while they were delivering individual items. Just like in the 626, where best peel and eat seafood houses are Vietnamese, that model is coming into effect at Long Phung. My issue is that the crawfish boil prices are not listed, and just noted as market price. That is going to get them customers, when the customer cannot even figure out the cost of what they are eating until that surprise check at the end of the meal. What are the recommended dishes to order at Long Phung? Well, here is a list: 1. Long Phung Special Fruit Drink- this drink combines tea and fresh fruit that not only looks beautiful, but tastes refreshing. 2. Basically anything with nem nuong in it, their house made sausage. It is tender and typically sliced paper thin when wrapped in their goi cuon. 3. Banh Mi- also check their dac biet banh mi items at the bottom of the banh mi menu. 4. Banh Bot Loc and Banh Beo- these are both versions of meat either on top of or wrapped in steamed tapioca starch cake. If you do not order one of these, you will feel left out. The prices are really low, so why not try everything! I find that their rice plates, even though listed as 7 items rice plate, is still not as much food as you are lead to believe. The stews tend to have too much corn starch and not enough flavor. Banh Xeo is also very oily. Coffee is not served with drip device, and bubble tea is weak. I could keep going, but nowhere is perfect. Other Yelpers note this place as clean. I would have to disagree; the interior and tables are new, but very far from being clean. There is also an issue with the staff not bussing the tables, so customers are just standing around or just bussing their own tables. It is very odd. Aside from the rabid pharaoh ant issue at the drink bar, this place is good. Currently, maybe my #5 choice in Pinellas Park.

    Came here on Saturday around 10AM. Viet breakfast? Yum! It's located on Park Blvd right by the railroad tracks. Just look for the bright yellow building or you will miss it! There is a rear entrance as well as a front entrance. Pretty nice space inside to accommodate a lot of guests. We were the only people in the restaurant so we had our pick of where to sit lol. Our server promptly brought menus and waters for us. He was very friendly and helpful with the menu. I ordered #140 which was the rice vermicelli with everything (dac biet), my husband ordered a large pho, and my son wanted the special fried rice without veggies. We also ordered a taro boba tea for him (YES! They serve boba tea too!) They have A LOT of menu items. Main points being the different kinds of pho, banh mi, rice vermicelli and broken rice dishes. My son said YUM to the boba tea. He said it tasted good and the boba were nice and chewy (fresh). Our server even came by to ask if the boba tea was sweet enough, I'm guessing he would have remade it if we said no? Appreciated that he asked though, awesome customer service! My bun came with grilled shrimp, ground pork meatballs, ground shrimp, and egg roll. The noodles were fresh tasting and not hard/dry. The vegetables in it were fresh looking too and not wilted/brown. It was tasty and I didn't share because it was so good lol! My husband's bowl of pho was HUGE. He said the broth was very flavorful and he amazingly finished the bowl. My son's fried rice was good too (I snuck a bite). It came with Chinese sausage, spam, grilled pork and scrambled eggs. The rice was not greasy and tasted good. It wasn't bland or too salty. Prices are not bad and are about the same as other Viet restaurants in the area. We should have ordered some banh mi to go. They seriously had a huge variety of sandwiches. But yay! I'm glad we have found another Viet restaurant to come too! Service and food were both awesome during our visit and we will definitely be back.

    CONVERTED FAST FOOD RESTAURANT This place feels like the fun, fast food hangout version of other, local Vietnamese restaurants. There's not much to look at outside except large, colorful food photos (look like Stock photos) hanging on the outside. The inside is trying with more bright photos, walls, and some bamboo décor. Even the little tables are reminiscent of Fast Food restaurants. THE MENU ALSO REMINDS ME... ... even more of a Fast Food place. Besides typical Vietnamese fare like Pho, Noodle bowls, Stir Fries there's also Boba drinks, and Crawfish! I'll have to try those another time. Plus the prices overall are slightly lower. Meanwhile, their Pho is filled with spices and it's obvious from the aroma and flavor. Although this tastes great, it also feels a little more catered toward American tongues. Between the Pho and the Noodles Dishes, the textures and appearance of all ingredients appeared fresh with the appropriate feel and quality. CASUAL TIME The young staff kept joking behind the counter but were efficient at bringing all food out with the correct amount of enthusiasm. Tiny quibbles such as the strange design of the back hallway remind you this building was probably converted into several restaurants beforehand. I noticed an enclosed pavilion out back with tables--evening dinner parties? I guess I'll have to return and find out.

    good food + low prices + big portions = GEM! With the numerous options for Vietnamese food in St.Pete along park blvd, its tough to no know where exactly to stop by and try. With out any doubt, Long Phung should be def be on your short list! When im eating at a viet restaurant, I look for good fresh ingredients to go along with cheap prices. When I opened their menu, I quickly noticed that the prices were cheap! in fact when i looked at the dishes i couldn't believe the price was so low as many of their dishes were under $12 They also serve boba tea & had this really good fresh fruit drink that was very refreshing. When i came here with my family of 4, not only were we seated right away., but our food also came out very quickly. For all that my family ordered, the bill came up to just under $60 ... and we had alot of left overs to take home!

    I tried the shrimp, chicken and egg roll buhn, fried egg rolls and green apple boba tea. All of the food was very good. The buhn tasted fresh and light. The boba tea had the right amount of tart. The service was very good. Reasonably priced and good service, too. This is a solid choice for good Vietnamese cuisine.

    Saturday dinner. I heard from friends that only the crawfish was good here (not the Viet food), but I now realize my friends do not have the same taste buds as me I guess. This place was great! Maybe I ordered items they never tried? I wanted a taro bubble tea w/ boba, so I decided to just have a nem nuong (grilled sweet pork) summer roll and a banh mi sandwich with gia lua (cold cuts). I think I butchered that last Viet word. No idea. The food items were excellent. I rarely ever see a nem nuong fresh roll. So good. The sandwich was delicious. I think there's some different spread inside that's not in other sandwiches I've had at other Viet places. The bubble tea was ok...I've had better at other restaurants. Boba was good. Smoothie part wasn't as smoothie-ish-consistency. The restaurant is surprisingly very clean and semi-modern looking. I know I say that about a lot of Viet restaurants, but i was really expecting this place to be the usual run-down Viet joint for some reason. Maybe bc of the location and the authentic Viet name. Anyway- definitely check out this place. Oh I forgot to mention the CRAWFISH! The bf brought a few pounds home once, and it was almost as good as King Cajun in Orlando. No Sha-bang flavor but definitely fresh crawfish and tasty.

    What an inexpensive treat! Came in four times during my stay here in St. Petersburg. My uncle recommended this place, so came here with family. We are a big family so we practically ordered the whole menu, Asian style. I went all out and ordered the Com Tam (Bay Mon - 7 Items). It was so delicious and inexpensive! Later, finished it off with some Bubble Tea. They have a huge bubble tea selection and the quality is great! Some of them are made with fresh fruits!

Overall appearance of the business/atmosphere: 4/5 One of the FEW Vietnamese restaurants that my family, namely my parents, would enjoy coming back to eat over and over. One of the best features of this family & friends run restaurant is that it has 100+ menu items. If you can't find something to order at this place, you're a lost cause! The majority of their food is quite good and if they're not, then they're actually just "quite decent". They also serve boba and crawfish. They have days and hours where the rush is CRAZY busy. I asked our friendly waiter once how busy it was that day and he said he barely ate! Anyways, I would call ahead just to see if it's busy and ask if there's a wait time. Btw the times listed are incorrect. They do NOT close at 12am midnight. They close at 9pm and stop serving 8:40pm as I believe they do that because they are so busy in the morning. Definitely worth a try. Very nice atmosphere.

    Went there on Mar 28th and found it to be a very likable place to go for dinner. My wife and I really liked the Boba flavors we had and the food was very delicious. I had the Ba Mon grilled pork, sugarcane shrimp and omelet with broken rice and my wife had the Hai Mon sugar cane shrimp and omelet with broken rice. they both came with a soup and oyster dipping sauce. It is one of those places that you drive by and miss on great food. The staff is very nice with sit down waiter service. They do have take out. We want to go back and try their Banh Mi.

    This place. My gosh. Sooo many things to write about... The wait time for food was seriously over an hour. This is not an exaggeration, and my group and I overhead other parties saying others waited about the same duration, regardless of what they ordered (i.e. hot pot, seafood, noodle or rice dishes). I suppose it's understandable since they only had one chef and a packed house this past Saturday evening. But it seems like the long wait time could be a norm. Service was sweet, but the staff seemed to be forgetful and all over the place. At one point they brought out our rice and noodle dishes but neglected to bring out utensils, and our waters were never refilled. I had to walk up to the front to ask for some too. :/ Even asking for the check required a reminder. Our group shared appetizers and some entrees. The banh beo appetizer was pretty delish. I mean. We ordered 3 orders of it. Lol. As for the entrees, we mostly shared the crawfish and jumbo shrimp. For the crawfish, you have to have a minimum order of 2 lbs. And you get the option of either fresh or frozen, but it depends if the crawfish is in season. The price difference is about $2 plus change between the two options. The crawfish was definitely fresh. The seasoning was good, but it wasn't marinated too well since the restaurant lacked chefs that evening. The sauce was definitely spicy and yummy. For 2 lbs' worth, the order didn't seem like it though as well all commented about it. The shrimp was pretty tasty, and I am not a shrimp fan. They were huge and seasoned a tad better than the crawfish. I'm unsure if the order was 1 or 2 lbs, but since they were jumbo sized, it would seem like 2 to me. The mi xao bo was a tad too over salted. The beef was under salted and sort of bland. They def need to work on the seasoning of these two items. The noodles weren't oily or dry so that was a plus. There was a good mixture of various types of veggies. Some of the veggies, like the carrots, were cut in a hurried state as some were too thick while some were just right. Again, this is prob due to the lack of staffing. Parking was beside and behind the building. I suggest calling and asking about the wait time before deciding on this place. Popularity wise, this place seems to be popular, but the way they manage their operation is purely following the Asian style: chaos.

    I really like the inviroinment of this restaurant because it clean the foods are good too. But you know what, the way of service are the worst. The server are unfriendly, do not want to serve the customer. How do you eat without spoon chopstick or folk....this restaurant have the worst service ever....they even brought out the wrong food....i order a coke it took a whole hour to get the it. Took four to five server to bring the coke out and they charge me double for it....worst place ever....never come here again...

    Update: still very bad, I updated this from a two to one star rating. This time I ordered the rare beef pho and tendon and fresh strawberry slushie. It was well done beef and the noodles were beyond cooked. And slushie was beyond watery and powdery. I actually had powder on my tongue so im not sure if it was fresh.The spring rolls were hard and disgusting.

    Went here with a group of 8. Service was really slow, our orders were wrong. We sat for 35 min before even receiving our drinks. A piece of hair was in our bun Thit nuong. 2 of our guest didn't receive their drink until we got our bill. It was our first time here so looking at the menu I was surprised with so many options but I would def not come here on a Sunday again. Understaffed and overworked. Usually I'm pretty lenient with bad service but it was just one after another problem after problem. Probably won't come here again

    I really wanted to like this place because A) I love Vietnamese food and B) It's two minutes away from my house. Unfortunately, the place fell short. I called in a pickup order and before I could ask how long I should wait or for the person to ask for my name, they hung up on me. I had to call back to find out how long it would take. When I got there, the place was virtually empty but the staff were nice. My fiancé and I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and a banh mi sandwich each. I got the tofu and he got the grilled chicken. The spring rolls were just okay; they didn't seem carefully put together but they weren't terrible. I was disappointed with my sandwich because the bread was kind of soggy on the bottom and the tofu lacked flavor. My fiancé didn't like his grilled chicken that much because they put just a small amount of meat and it also lacked flavor. I really wanted to love this place, but after my bizarre experience and the poorer quality of food, I'm not sure I'll come back.

    We've visited here several times and have never been disappointed. The Phao is delicious and the banhmi are tasty. The broth of the soup seems to heal what ails you. Add in the lovely items served along side of it for and outstanding pha. The banhmi are layered with the meats of your choice. My favorite is any of the grilled ones; pork or beef. They're topped with thin slivers of jalapeño, seeded of course, cilantro, pickled daikon and carrot. These are housed in a wonderful crustyVietnamese roll and make you drool as you anticipate that first bite. Did I mention the low prices and peaceful atmosphere? You must come check them out yourself! Hopefully Long Phung will be around for many years to come and will keep putting out the delicious Vietnamese treasures!

    This place is alive with energy, freshness, and food ready to delight. When you first enter it has the feel of fast food but you are encouraged to sit relax while someone comes to your table to take your order. With a smile and welcoming demeanor servers come to the tables offering a drink and to take your order. The dining room is as inviting and invigorating as the welcome with spacious room both inside and outside. The inside has tables that easily adjustable for larger or smaller groups; the color scheme is a mint green that compliments the atmosphere. Although there is a buzz of adrenaline in the atmosphere you can find yourself with friends having a relaxing conversation. From Boba Tea, Fried Rice, Noodle Soup, to sandwiches; you can find something that will interest you in the approximately 200 items on the menu. All of which have a touch or spin that brings Vietnam to your table for you to try. I was in the mood for fried rice but something different. I ordered #196 that featured Vietnamese Sausage, Spam, Scrambled Egg, and mixed vegetables with a Mango Boba Tea. Typically, when I order anything fried rice it usually seems heavy with an oily texture and very salty. In contrast this was very delicate, finely diced meats and vegetables, very light texture and any salt flavor was truly there to accent and compliment; not over power. Very delightful! The Mango was likewise a delight; very smooth and the sweetness just right. Truth be told, this was my first Boba Tea and I really did not know that they would be that much fun. They come with an absolutely huge diameter straw that allows you to get gummy candies out of the bottom. My first thought was this is not too far from the theaters on U.S. 19 and Park Blvd which makes Boba Tea a great after movie treat. I finished my meal off with an order of shrimp spring rolls that were very good. A couple of things to watch for at this location. The parking lot is not very big and could easily become congested. The other is the location could easily sneak up on you while driving down Park Blvd; so you need to be on the lookout for the yellow building, south side of the road west of the railroad tracks. Across from the train depot building. It will sneak up on you. One really extremely positive thing about this place is it is family friendly and the kids in the dining room seemed to be having a great time. Definitely give this place try. I think you will enjoy it.

    A great new discovery in Pinellas Park's Little Saigon alley. The grilled pork Bahn Mi (thit nuong) was delicious. We also tried the two apps of Rice Dumplings 10 pieces (bánh bt lc) and Water Fern Cake 6 bowls (bánh bèo). They're all pretty cheap and it's a great way to try something new. They are not something you find in a lot of other Viet places. I was extremely impressed with the Sizzling Cake (bánh xèo) which is a crispy savory pancake stuffed with wilted bean sprouts and pork and shrimp. Well, maybe a little light on the pork and shrimp compared to how my mom makes it. The way to eat this is to break off a piece that will fit on a lettuce wrap and dip it in the fish sauce that comes with it. It's messy but glorious. The only bad thing I had were the egg rolls which are more Chinese style, basically all dough and cabbage instead of Vietnamese style which is more heavy on the meat. Vietnamese style iced coffee was a good way to end the meal. I saw a lot of other people eating the pho which I will have to try next time. My usual go to place for beef noodle soup is Pho Queyen but with so many other people eating it, I'm gonna have to try.

    Based on service, because I didn't get to try the food. Driving down the road looking for lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon I noticed a new Vietnamese restaurant and decided to try it. At this time of day I expected to find a light crowd and was pleased to see just a few customers (Maybe I could eat and get back to work quickly) I sat down and there was no greeting or acknowledgment of my existence, after a while I got up and found a menu and sat down to read this large text. I felt I decided what I wanted but I had a question but none of the staff would make eye contact or treat me like I was alive. Finally after what seemed like forever (I was very hungry) a young couple sat next to me and immediately acknowledged received menus and drinks and took their orders. At this point I could take no more and rather than start displaying my dissatisfaction I left and went to Taste of Saigon where they treat a person right I could never understand why people would go into customer service when they don't like to serve customers!!

    Update: still very bad, I updated this from a two to one star rating. This time I ordered the rare beef pho and tendon and fresh strawberry slushie. It was well done beef and the noodles were beyond cooked. And slushie was beyond watery and powdery. I actually had powder on my tongue so im not sure if it was fresh.The spring rolls were hard and disgusting.

    Went here with a group of 8. Service was really slow, our orders were wrong. We sat for 35 min before even receiving our drinks. A piece of hair was in our bun Thit nuong. 2 of our guest didn't receive their drink until we got our bill. It was our first time here so looking at the menu I was surprised with so many options but I would def not come here on a Sunday again. Understaffed and overworked. Usually I'm pretty lenient with bad service but it was just one after another problem after problem. Probably won't come here again

    We've visited here several times and have never been disappointed. The Phao is delicious and the banhmi are tasty. The broth of the soup seems to heal what ails you. Add in the lovely items served along side of it for and outstanding pha. The banhmi are layered with the meats of your choice. My favorite is any of the grilled ones; pork or beef. They're topped with thin slivers of jalapeño, seeded of course, cilantro, pickled daikon and carrot. These are housed in a wonderful crustyVietnamese roll and make you drool as you anticipate that first bite. Did I mention the low prices and peaceful atmosphere? You must come check them out yourself! Hopefully Long Phung will be around for many years to come and will keep putting out the delicious Vietnamese treasures!

Overall appearance of the business/atmosphere: 4/5 One of the FEW Vietnamese restaurants that my family, namely my parents, would enjoy coming back to eat over and over. One of the best features of this family & friends run restaurant is that it has 100+ menu items. If you can't find something to order at this place, you're a lost cause! The majority of their food is quite good and if they're not, then they're actually just "quite decent". They also serve boba and crawfish. They have days and hours where the rush is CRAZY busy. I asked our friendly waiter once how busy it was that day and he said he barely ate! Anyways, I would call ahead just to see if it's busy and ask if there's a wait time. Btw the times listed are incorrect. They do NOT close at 12am midnight. They close at 9pm and stop serving 8:40pm as I believe they do that because they are so busy in the morning. Definitely worth a try. Very nice atmosphere.

    Really like this place. Good Vietnamese food with a huge menu. Fairly nice atmosphere as well. If you like Vietnamese food (or want to try something new), it's definitely worth checking out.

    A great new discovery in Pinellas Park's Little Saigon alley. The grilled pork Bahn Mi (thit nuong) was delicious. We also tried the two apps of Rice Dumplings 10 pieces (bánh bt lc) and Water Fern Cake 6 bowls (bánh bèo). They're all pretty cheap and it's a great way to try something new. They are not something you find in a lot of other Viet places. I was extremely impressed with the Sizzling Cake (bánh xèo) which is a crispy savory pancake stuffed with wilted bean sprouts and pork and shrimp. Well, maybe a little light on the pork and shrimp compared to how my mom makes it. The way to eat this is to break off a piece that will fit on a lettuce wrap and dip it in the fish sauce that comes with it. It's messy but glorious. The only bad thing I had were the egg rolls which are more Chinese style, basically all dough and cabbage instead of Vietnamese style which is more heavy on the meat. Vietnamese style iced coffee was a good way to end the meal. I saw a lot of other people eating the pho which I will have to try next time. My usual go to place for beef noodle soup is Pho Queyen but with so many other people eating it, I'm gonna have to try.

    The fun and color atmosphere brings you in and the large menu keeps you intrigued. They have many authentic dishes you may not be able to get elsewhere which is a big plus! I tried the Vietnamese hot pot (Thai flavor) and their Vermicelli pork, shrimp and egg roll dish. Overall, the hot pot is an very fun and excellent family meal time. The portions are actually very large, we shared a small one between 3 people and still had tons left over. They give you an assortment of vegetables, meats and seafood. The thai flavor reminds me of the MaMa noodles, it's sour and spicy. The Vermicelli dish was okay, the portion isn't really that big for something that's over $10. I still enjoyed it anyways because I was hungry. I did notice that the egg roll provided was different from other places (this one didn't have meat). The service is extremely slow and annoying. I've had to get up to ask for water after waiting 20-30 minutes. We had to ask for your bills both times as we sit there staring at each other in silence. So let's just say service isn't their thing. It's still a place to check out if you've already visited all the Vietnamese restaurant in the area.

    Definitely one of the slowest services for an Asian restaurant. Lots of servers running around but the kitchen cannot keep up. Not really sure about the food since I am still waiting. Does not matter if food is good, if I can't eat when I am hungry.... It's not really worth it. Their crawfish and garlic shrimp in butter was good (ordered to go via phone). Sorry maybe next time.

    OMG....my daughter and i went there for brunch today...OFF THE HOOK !!!!! I had the spicy beef vermicelli...best thing i have ever eaten. I also had the pork belly bun mi....FABULOUS ... my daughter had watermelon boba tea and she wnded up getting a second one to take home. She had this crepe type thing with shrimp in it that she loved. The service was great and very friendly..not too long of a wait fir the food at all. Very reasonably priced and you get a TON of food...i could have swam in my soup bowl it was that huge. We cant wait to go back. I would recommend this to EVERYONE i f you like veitnamese food.

    The band beo is one of best I have ever had (I'm Vietnamese and grew up in California). I highly recommend it. Their crawfish is also very tasty. We eat here nearly every week.

    Based on service, because I didn't get to try the food. Driving down the road looking for lunch at 1:30 in the afternoon I noticed a new Vietnamese restaurant and decided to try it. At this time of day I expected to find a light crowd and was pleased to see just a few customers (Maybe I could eat and get back to work quickly) I sat down and there was no greeting or acknowledgment of my existence, after a while I got up and found a menu and sat down to read this large text. I felt I decided what I wanted but I had a question but none of the staff would make eye contact or treat me like I was alive. Finally after what seemed like forever (I was very hungry) a young couple sat next to me and immediately acknowledged received menus and drinks and took their orders. At this point I could take no more and rather than start displaying my dissatisfaction I left and went to Taste of Saigon where they treat a person right I could never understand why people would go into customer service when they don't like to serve customers!!

    Conveniently located, Long Phung met my dining needs. Friendly service, clean atmosphere and the food was fresh. My friend, who goes to Louisiana specifically for fresh crawl fish twice annually, had their crawl fish and it came out piping hot. Chose medium spice and he said it was the best he has had locally. The other appetizer was a spring roll with peanut sauce and it was very fresh as was the Pho soup we had as the entree. The owner stopped our table to verify we were satisfied. This is now my go to Vietnamese restaurant!

    3 1/2 stars because no outstanding dishes, not to me. Pho is okay. I go for there banh beo (steamed flour in teeny dishes), and the banh bot loc (steam tapioca pouch stuffed with seasoned shrimp).

    Wonderfully fresh, delicious, great service. I had the deliciously delicate water pancakes. These are amazing and unique for the American diner. If you haven't had them, I highly recommend being adventurous. You spoon the tiny morsels from their bowels, each one flavored with a delicate fried crisp onion, and shrimp in the tender steamed pancake. Ten of these are less than $3.00! Super bargain! The Bun is one of the best I have had in the area. The bowl of noodles with refreshing vegetables and tender flavorful barbecued pork is delicious and cooked to perfection! The service was delightful. Our server went above and beyond to help my husband find the perfect blend of jellies for his dessert. She made him a combination of a few to sample and brought them to the table for him to try. She was patient and very sweet. This is a gem in Pinellas Park. Glad to find it!

    This place. My gosh. Sooo many things to write about... The wait time for food was seriously over an hour. This is not an exaggeration, and my group and I overhead other parties saying others waited about the same duration, regardless of what they ordered (i.e. hot pot, seafood, noodle or rice dishes). I suppose it's understandable since they only had one chef and a packed house this past Saturday evening. But it seems like the long wait time could be a norm. Service was sweet, but the staff seemed to be forgetful and all over the place. At one point they brought out our rice and noodle dishes but neglected to bring out utensils, and our waters were never refilled. I had to walk up to the front to ask for some too. :/ Even asking for the check required a reminder. Our group shared appetizers and some entrees. The banh beo appetizer was pretty delish. I mean. We ordered 3 orders of it. Lol. As for the entrees, we mostly shared the crawfish and jumbo shrimp. For the crawfish, you have to have a minimum order of 2 lbs. And you get the option of either fresh or frozen, but it depends if the crawfish is in season. The price difference is about $2 plus change between the two options. The crawfish was definitely fresh. The seasoning was good, but it wasn't marinated too well since the restaurant lacked chefs that evening. The sauce was definitely spicy and yummy. For 2 lbs' worth, the order didn't seem like it though as well all commented about it. The shrimp was pretty tasty, and I am not a shrimp fan. They were huge and seasoned a tad better than the crawfish. I'm unsure if the order was 1 or 2 lbs, but since they were jumbo sized, it would seem like 2 to me. The mi xao bo was a tad too over salted. The beef was under salted and sort of bland. They def need to work on the seasoning of these two items. The noodles weren't oily or dry so that was a plus. There was a good mixture of various types of veggies. Some of the veggies, like the carrots, were cut in a hurried state as some were too thick while some were just right. Again, this is prob due to the lack of staffing. Parking was beside and behind the building. I suggest calling and asking about the wait time before deciding on this place. Popularity wise, this place seems to be popular, but the way they manage their operation is purely following the Asian style: chaos.

    good food + low prices + big portions = GEM! With the numerous options for Vietnamese food in St.Pete along park blvd, its tough to no know where exactly to stop by and try. With out any doubt, Long Phung should be def be on your short list! When im eating at a viet restaurant, I look for good fresh ingredients to go along with cheap prices. When I opened their menu, I quickly noticed that the prices were cheap! in fact when i looked at the dishes i couldn't believe the price was so low as many of their dishes were under $12 They also serve boba tea & had this really good fresh fruit drink that was very refreshing. When i came here with my family of 4, not only were we seated right away., but our food also came out very quickly. For all that my family ordered, the bill came up to just under $60 ... and we had alot of left overs to take home!

    I tried the shrimp, chicken and egg roll buhn, fried egg rolls and green apple boba tea. All of the food was very good. The buhn tasted fresh and light. The boba tea had the right amount of tart. The service was very good. Reasonably priced and good service, too. This is a solid choice for good Vietnamese cuisine.

    Saturday dinner. I heard from friends that only the crawfish was good here (not the Viet food), but I now realize my friends do not have the same taste buds as me I guess. This place was great! Maybe I ordered items they never tried? I wanted a taro bubble tea w/ boba, so I decided to just have a nem nuong (grilled sweet pork) summer roll and a banh mi sandwich with gia lua (cold cuts). I think I butchered that last Viet word. No idea. The food items were excellent. I rarely ever see a nem nuong fresh roll. So good. The sandwich was delicious. I think there's some different spread inside that's not in other sandwiches I've had at other Viet places. The bubble tea was ok...I've had better at other restaurants. Boba was good. Smoothie part wasn't as smoothie-ish-consistency. The restaurant is surprisingly very clean and semi-modern looking. I know I say that about a lot of Viet restaurants, but i was really expecting this place to be the usual run-down Viet joint for some reason. Maybe bc of the location and the authentic Viet name. Anyway- definitely check out this place. Oh I forgot to mention the CRAWFISH! The bf brought a few pounds home once, and it was almost as good as King Cajun in Orlando. No Sha-bang flavor but definitely fresh crawfish and tasty.

    Long Phung is one of the newer additions to Pinellas Park's Park Boulevard Vietnamese food scene. If you have not tried it yet, then I definitely recommend trying for the experience. Look around at what other customers are ordering and try many different dishes. Even though my review might not be glowing and raving, everyone's opinion is different and just the experience of coming to Long Phung is important to the total Tampa Bay food scene. This place is Vietcool, from the hand painted mural arching the front door to the music and décor. Like a bustling cafeteria style Vietnamese restaurant you would find in California, where very few tables have parties of eight or less. Parties of two are rare, and that was us--- ordering as much food as a party of five, of course! The tables are small, and the entrée plates (ceramic plate, not portion) are massive, so there is definitely not enough room on the tabletop for the array of tasty dishes. The hours on the door have been taped over that they are open 7 days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm. No more 7:00am anymore, guise! The staff is aloof and barely responds when you order. So you don't really know if they heard your order or even wrote down the correct thing. The staff is young and speaks both Vietnamese and English perfectly. Food comes out fast, and as soon as it hits the table the staff disappears and will not even return to bring you a check. This is where staggering food delivery comes in handy. We were lucky that all of our dishes did not come out at once, so we were able to ask for various things from the staff while they were delivering individual items. Just like in the 626, where best peel and eat seafood houses are Vietnamese, that model is coming into effect at Long Phung. My issue is that the crawfish boil prices are not listed, and just noted as market price. That is going to get them customers, when the customer cannot even figure out the cost of what they are eating until that surprise check at the end of the meal. What are the recommended dishes to order at Long Phung? Well, here is a list: 1. Long Phung Special Fruit Drink- this drink combines tea and fresh fruit that not only looks beautiful, but tastes refreshing. 2. Basically anything with nem nuong in it, their house made sausage. It is tender and typically sliced paper thin when wrapped in their goi cuon. 3. Banh Mi- also check their dac biet banh mi items at the bottom of the banh mi menu. 4. Banh Bot Loc and Banh Beo- these are both versions of meat either on top of or wrapped in steamed tapioca starch cake. If you do not order one of these, you will feel left out. The prices are really low, so why not try everything! I find that their rice plates, even though listed as 7 items rice plate, is still not as much food as you are lead to believe. The stews tend to have too much corn starch and not enough flavor. Banh Xeo is also very oily. Coffee is not served with drip device, and bubble tea is weak. I could keep going, but nowhere is perfect. Other Yelpers note this place as clean. I would have to disagree; the interior and tables are new, but very far from being clean. There is also an issue with the staff not bussing the tables, so customers are just standing around or just bussing their own tables. It is very odd. Aside from the rabid pharaoh ant issue at the drink bar, this place is good. Currently, maybe my #5 choice in Pinellas Park.

    What an inexpensive treat! Came in four times during my stay here in St. Petersburg. My uncle recommended this place, so came here with family. We are a big family so we practically ordered the whole menu, Asian style. I went all out and ordered the Com Tam (Bay Mon - 7 Items). It was so delicious and inexpensive! Later, finished it off with some Bubble Tea. They have a huge bubble tea selection and the quality is great! Some of them are made with fresh fruits!

    CONVERTED FAST FOOD RESTAURANT This place feels like the fun, fast food hangout version of other, local Vietnamese restaurants. There's not much to look at outside except large, colorful food photos (look like Stock photos) hanging on the outside. The inside is trying with more bright photos, walls, and some bamboo décor. Even the little tables are reminiscent of Fast Food restaurants. THE MENU ALSO REMINDS ME... ... even more of a Fast Food place. Besides typical Vietnamese fare like Pho, Noodle bowls, Stir Fries there's also Boba drinks, and Crawfish! I'll have to try those another time. Plus the prices overall are slightly lower. Meanwhile, their Pho is filled with spices and it's obvious from the aroma and flavor. Although this tastes great, it also feels a little more catered toward American tongues. Between the Pho and the Noodles Dishes, the textures and appearance of all ingredients appeared fresh with the appropriate feel and quality. CASUAL TIME The young staff kept joking behind the counter but were efficient at bringing all food out with the correct amount of enthusiasm. Tiny quibbles such as the strange design of the back hallway remind you this building was probably converted into several restaurants beforehand. I noticed an enclosed pavilion out back with tables--evening dinner parties? I guess I'll have to return and find out.

    I really wanted to like this place because A) I love Vietnamese food and B) It's two minutes away from my house. Unfortunately, the place fell short. I called in a pickup order and before I could ask how long I should wait or for the person to ask for my name, they hung up on me. I had to call back to find out how long it would take. When I got there, the place was virtually empty but the staff were nice. My fiancé and I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and a banh mi sandwich each. I got the tofu and he got the grilled chicken. The spring rolls were just okay; they didn't seem carefully put together but they weren't terrible. I was disappointed with my sandwich because the bread was kind of soggy on the bottom and the tofu lacked flavor. My fiancé didn't like his grilled chicken that much because they put just a small amount of meat and it also lacked flavor. I really wanted to love this place, but after my bizarre experience and the poorer quality of food, I'm not sure I'll come back.

    This place is alive with energy, freshness, and food ready to delight. When you first enter it has the feel of fast food but you are encouraged to sit relax while someone comes to your table to take your order. With a smile and welcoming demeanor servers come to the tables offering a drink and to take your order. The dining room is as inviting and invigorating as the welcome with spacious room both inside and outside. The inside has tables that easily adjustable for larger or smaller groups; the color scheme is a mint green that compliments the atmosphere. Although there is a buzz of adrenaline in the atmosphere you can find yourself with friends having a relaxing conversation. From Boba Tea, Fried Rice, Noodle Soup, to sandwiches; you can find something that will interest you in the approximately 200 items on the menu. All of which have a touch or spin that brings Vietnam to your table for you to try. I was in the mood for fried rice but something different. I ordered #196 that featured Vietnamese Sausage, Spam, Scrambled Egg, and mixed vegetables with a Mango Boba Tea. Typically, when I order anything fried rice it usually seems heavy with an oily texture and very salty. In contrast this was very delicate, finely diced meats and vegetables, very light texture and any salt flavor was truly there to accent and compliment; not over power. Very delightful! The Mango was likewise a delight; very smooth and the sweetness just right. Truth be told, this was my first Boba Tea and I really did not know that they would be that much fun. They come with an absolutely huge diameter straw that allows you to get gummy candies out of the bottom. My first thought was this is not too far from the theaters on U.S. 19 and Park Blvd which makes Boba Tea a great after movie treat. I finished my meal off with an order of shrimp spring rolls that were very good. A couple of things to watch for at this location. The parking lot is not very big and could easily become congested. The other is the location could easily sneak up on you while driving down Park Blvd; so you need to be on the lookout for the yellow building, south side of the road west of the railroad tracks. Across from the train depot building. It will sneak up on you. One really extremely positive thing about this place is it is family friendly and the kids in the dining room seemed to be having a great time. Definitely give this place try. I think you will enjoy it.
